Honeycomb is "an experiential documentary on the public perception and societal effect of natural hair and beards in Black women and men." At least that's the way, Elisee Junior St Preux, the filmmaker behind this project explains it.

 

Within the last quarter of 2020, I met Elisee and we sparked a great connection; we've gone on to collaborate on several projects. I was honored to be apart of this one and capture a few stills from one of the recording days of the doc. This project was shot in Jan. of 2021 and was released right in the middle of Black History Month.
