#BlackBoyJoy was created to show positive images of happy Black males to reinforce confidence, release some of the emotional baggage and reaffirm the existence of and right for Black males to be happy. I did this by coordinating a photoshoot modeled for a magazine style set up and video response made to gather real answers from Black males on their experiences.
