For me, my hair is a very special part of my overall style. At 17 years old I had started making my own money and was welcomed to style my hair how I saw fit. Through all the hair dye, twist, locs, and fades I got a chance to reinvent myself in a way. Similarly to my military upbringing, in which I'd constantly had to relocate every 2-3 years; autonomy in my hair styles, allowed me to express myself in a unique way.
